Now more about me, I am currently in the Rio Grande Valley (in South Texas). People normally don't know what I mean so I normally say McAllen, South Padre Island, or Brownsville, because those are all the well know places in the valley. I recently found out our local mall, La Plaza Mall, McAllen, Tx, is a big mall getting the most sells, especially American Eagle. I will admit i like some American Eagle clothes, but what's the big deal. I do not care for people who shop at name brands just to show off name brands, who the F cares about the name brand you where? I don't, if your outfit looks good it's because you make it look good. I guess it's because I'm the kind of person that wears my clothes i don't let my clothes wear me.
I am currently planning on leaving south Texas once again either back to the University of North Texas, Denton, TX, or back Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fl. UNT is my home, i miss it ALOT. I am currently a sophomore although this is my 3rd year of college, but I basically took a year off (separate semesters in different years, not all together) I will admit I messed up with grades my freshman year and am still working on improving my GPA, its pretty hard but i gotta do it! I should be graduating next year but I doubt that'll happen so May of 2012 is my new goal. I know that I have 3 years left at UNT because that's how long it will take me to complete my major requirements because I'm still in my pre-major, but after this summer I should be in my Major, which is Radio/Television/Film. Although if go to Orlando this summer it might take me longer because then I will have to push my summer courses back to take in the fall instead.
But enough about school, now
WHY ARE YOU GOING TO DISNEY WORLD INSTEAD OF SCHOOL?!?!?!
because I'm hoping to get another internship with them. I did an internship there one semester (hence.. a semester away from school) and it was the best time of my life. Since I am an Alumni of the College Program I am given the opportunity to do it again for just the summer at either Disney World or Disney Land. I would love to do Disney Land because its in California and the state is just fabulous!!! But Disney World is SOOO much better than Disney Land anyways.. duh!! Disney Land fits in Magic Kingdom's PARKING LOT 4 times!!! And also, I already know Orlando because... I've done it before!!!
RANDOM SEGUE!!!
I'm of Hispanic decent and tomorrow is Easter. Yes, I am a confirmed Catholic, but in recent years I've grown knowledge which has actually made me start questioning my beliefs, but since religion is a very touchy topic I believe that is all I shall say about that. But back to this holiday they call Easter, my step family has a bunch of kids and teachers so they wanna be well-rested for school on Monday. Also we have this one cousin who is currently living in Virginia because her military husband is currently stationed there while he is away from Iraq, she and her 1 year old daughter are here for Easter and are leaving tomorrow, so you know how Mexican families work "oh we have to have EVERYBODY there so let's accommodate for all the older people's schedule's! The kids, if they miss out, then too bad." Yes, I am still considered one of the kids. In this Mexican family, they consider us adults because were in college but still a kid as to not really get input. It's very rare that they'll take your input, it's like once you have a kid then you have the right for input. I have a cousin in this family that was born the exact same day and year as me so all our lives we have shared birthday parties. high school is when that finally stopped. And this year, she definitely cant party with me because she will be 6 months preggers on our 21st birthday, which totally sucks for HER. But she's been a bitch to me all our lives so I'm like that cousin that I would care if she died or something, but if her feelings are hurt... I really don't care. But that's only because she made my life a living hell. Which will most likely be talked about in another blog. Back to Easter, I need to shower because I have to go to this Easter Saturday celebration.
